I am very sure that you have known Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah (the Sultan of Brunai Darussalam), Queen Elizabeth II (the Queen of England), Liem Sioe Liong (Indonesian entrepreneur who has many big companies), and William Soeryadjaya (also Indonesian entrepreneur who has many big companies). They are famous and rich people. Now there have also been so many new rich people that we often call them ‘Nouveau Riche’.
Nouveau Riche comes from French. People become very rich because of many factors. They are among others: the wealth of their parents, their strong willingness to reach their goal, or learning in a special educational institution. Community for Nouveau Riche is available. Even they have their own website where the members can share their experiences. Of course, the community website is very important and can become a bridge which links one member of the community to the others.
As a matter of fact, there are several definitions of Nouveau Riche. It can be a person who get higher position in his financial condition. For example, he is very poor, but because of something, he can become very rich. Or, the definition can also refer to an ordinary person who suddenly becomes famous.
